Recently I became the very proud owner of a beautiful painting of a gorilla which I commissioned from Lucie Anne Art. I have had a life long love of these wonderful animals and knew I could rely on Lucie to produce a painting I would be proud to show off - and my goodness I was right ... I cried when she presented him to me - tears of joy I might add since she had captured the strength and majesty of the species whilst giving him that serene knowing look - I instantly fell in love. The attention to detail is immaculate and she has managed to make his eyes seem alive. Lucie has used colours in the background which match up with my colour scheme in the hallway where Jambo now lives. I have called him Jambo in honour of the gentle giant who resided at Jersey Zoo and who I had the pleasure of seeing back in 1985. Those of you old enough to remember will recall how he "guarded" a young boy who fell into the enclosure until such time as he could be rescued.So to conclude I am thrilled with my painting and would recommend Lucie Anne Art to anyone wanting a personalised painting - so thrilled in fact I have commissioned a second painting which I have no doubt will be just as perfect!
